Kevin Hewitt (second from left), president and CEO of Christian Children’s Home of Ohio and Dan Franks (left), Community Development Manager of CCHO, accepted a contribution of $18,000 from Wayne Davidhizar (center), treasurer of Mid-Ohio Corvette Club on Sept. 11. This year’s event was held on Aug. 11. To date MOCC has raised more than $156,000 for CCHO.

More than 100 Corvettes were on display at CCHO with many drivers giving the kids Corvette rides. The event began at the Wayne County Fairgrounds where registration was held and a Continental breakfast was served. A cruise then followed to the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio, located north of Wooster, where lunch was served and a day spent with the kids. Nearly 300 meals were served to Corvette lovers, CCHO staff and kids.

It was a successful day thanks to the many who provide sponsorships, discounts for food, cash donations, etc.
